We have a beautiful uniform and Mrs Thompson likes us to wear it with pride.
School Uniform:
Grey or black skirt, red tartan skirt, trousers or tailored shorts, red gingham dress, red sweatshirt or cardigan, red or white polo shirt (can be with SA logo or without). Smart black shoes/ankle boots or plain black trainers (no open toe sandals or heels).
Gingham dresses and shorts are obviously more appropriate for summer wear and we wouldn’t expect children to be wearing these between November and March.
PE:
Your child will require a pair of black PE shorts, a red T shirt (with or without the school logo), socks other than those they wear to school and a pair of plimsolls or trainers. A black or navy tracksuit, though not compulsory, is a good investment, as it provides warmth on cold days, however school jumpers can also be worn which is much more cost effective as we know how quickly children grow out of everything!
PLEASE NOTE THAT BRANDED SPORTS CLOTHING WILL NOT BE PERMITTED, AND YOUR CHILD WILL BE GIVEN A SCHOOL TOP TO WEAR INSTEAD.
KS2 children will need a swimming costume. Children who are not fit or who are convalescing from illness will be excused from physical education but would you please send a letter on such occasions.
Please name items of clothing that your child will be wearing in school.

Branded clothing is not compulsory and can be generic as long as it adheres to the uniform policy.
Children should not wear anything to school that poses a safety hazard. Sensible shoes are required. Earrings must be studs only.
Any child who takes up the option of free school meals will be offered a free sweatshirt when they start school.
Pre-loved uniform is ALWAYS available in school – so if you need anything please come in and ask 😊.
